Financial Track

Budgeting 101

Learn about basic budgeting tools you can use to be successful in managing your money.  

 

Life Skills Track

Nutrition and Kitchen Safety

Learn about basic nutrition and safe food handling and storage to help keep your family healthy and safe in the kitchen.  Participants will discuss healthy foods, foods that should be limited, and how to read food labels.  

Grocery Budgeting and Meal Planning

Learn how to plan meals and save money.  Participants will also learn about preparation of basic foods, cost friendly websites, and recipes.

Laundry and Housekeeping

Learn basic guidelines for keeping a clean home and how to properly sort and care for your fabrics.  When things are maintained, you can save money by extending the life of your home and fabrics.

Basic Automotive Care

Routine vehicle maintenance will help you prevent damage that may bring costly repairs in the future.  Save money, by inspecting and replacing items in your car before it becomes a costly issue. 

Parenting

A six-week course designed to assist with parenting in the early years.  Learn 10 characteristic traits parents need to help children become successful.  Participants will watch a video series taught by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, engage in group discussion, and learn tips to help resolve behavior issues.

 

Job Skills Track

Employment P.L.A.N.

Learn what employers are looking for, from applying to interviewing.  This class will assist you in gaining confidence in your resume and interviewing skills.  Career options, through employee training or furthering your education, can also be discussed.

 

Support and Training

Mentorship- Mentors can walk beside you as you grow to your full potential, pray with you, and offer guidance through their life experiences.

Counseling- Counseling is available through our pastoral staff.  Community referrals are also available.

Emergency Shelter- The Reach Center offers emergency shelter to displaced individuals during extreme winter or summer weather conditions.
